Duration: Half day
Let’s meet at the village of Giverny, at the entrance of the Monet Foundation, where we will begin this enchanting visit of the gardens and the house of Claude Monet.
We will plunge together into the life and work of this famous impressionist artist who, like a real gardener, created his garden as a true artistic work and an essential source of inspiration.
During our walk, we will discover the water lily pond and its famous Japanese bridge. We will also cross the Clos Normand with its many flower beds.
We will then visit the artist’s house, which looks like in Monet’s time: the living room-studio, the bedrooms, the yellow dining room, but also the astonishing collection of Japanese prints, and the kitchen covered with blue tiles.
Come discover or re-discover Giverny and the artist Claude Monet!
