Notre-Dame de Paris, primitive Gothic building, was built from 1163 till 1345. Classified as “Historic Monument” and registered on the UNESCO world heritage, the Cathedral Notre-Dame is part of these symbolic buildings which makes Paris what it is: a first rowa capital, known worldwide for its architecture and its secular history. Nevertheless, this Gothic place of worship which took about 200 years to built on the Island of the City still didn’t have the fame and the prestige it holds now.

Since the fire in 2019, the visit is a little different, we will only approach the outside of the cathedral, since the inside of the cathedral is no longer accessible. During this guided tour of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, we will explain in detail all the symbolism of the façade with its magnificent rose window, buttresses, pointed arches and the curious gallery of the kings of France or Judea, without forgetting to mention the famous towers of Notre-Dame inside which are the famous bells immortalized in Victor Hugo’s novel “Notre-Dame de Paris”.
