The Louvre museum is the largest museum in the world and the most visited, it’s also 403 rooms , 243.000m2 floorboard, 14.5km of galleries, 10.000 steps, 410 windows, 3.000 keyholes. To be able to see all the works of art of the museum, that is to say 38000 works of art on show ( only 10% of the total collection 568 200 conserved by the Louvre) spending only 10 seconds per art piece, you would need 3 days and 2 nights no stop to see everything.

Discover the incredible collection of Italian Renaissance paintings, with gothic paintings, masterpieces from Raphaël, Leonardo da Vinci and the famous Mona Lisa. Scroll in the magnificent gallery of Apollo, built under the reign of Louis XIV, and do not miss the masterpieces of the french Romanticism and Neoclassicism such as the Coronation of Napoleon or the Raft of the Medusa.

Discover all the masterpieces of the Louvre but you’ll add a little bit more to your visit. Your guide you’ll bring you though the Egyptian collection and into the Richelieu Wing, where you’ll discover the french collection of XVIIth century sculptures, the flamish paintings including the beautiful Marie de’Medici cycle by Rubens but also Napoleon’s III apartments.

  • Tickets for the museum are included in the visit price, and will be supplied by your guide.
  • If, at the end of the visit, you are left unsatisfied, know that you will have the possibility of staying in the museum to take advantage of other works at your own rhythm.
  • The Musée du Louvre is closed every Tuesday!
